South Surrey is a short drive down from our base on 146th Street. We build new custom homes and renovate existing ones across its established neighbourhoods — Ocean Park, Crescent Heights, Sunnyside, Elgin and the streets around Crescent Beach.

Many South Surrey homes sit on generous lots with mature trees, which makes them good candidates for a rebuild or a major renovation. Before design starts we check the lot's zoning, setbacks and trees, because Surrey's tree protection bylaw can affect where a new home or addition can go.

Since July 2024, Surrey's small-scale multi-unit housing zoning has allowed more than one home on most single-family lots — a house with a suite and a coach house, for example, or up to four units on many lots. If you're planning a rebuild, it pays to know what your lot allows before you commit to a design.

Building permits go through the City of Surrey. We prepare the applications and book the inspections.
