Everson Construction Ltd. ("we", "us") is a construction company based at 5642 146th Street, Surrey, BC V3S 2Z6. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This policy explains what we collect through this website and our enquiries, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, the location of your property, and the details of your project — through the quote form, by email or by phone. If you become a client, we also keep the information needed to carry out and document your project.
What we use it for
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To prepare estimates and, if you hire us, to plan and deliver your project.
- To apply for permits, warranty enrolment and inspections for your project.
- To meet our legal, tax and warranty record-keeping obligations.
What we don't do
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.
Who else can see it
Only as needed to do the job: the form service that delivers website enquiries to our email (Web3Forms), our email provider, and — for your project — consultants, trades, surveyors, the municipality and the home warranty provider. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Some of these service providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead are kept only as long as they're useful for following up. Project records are kept for as long as needed for warranty, tax and legal purposes, then securely deleted.
Cookies and third-party content
This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, photos from Unsplash, and — on some pages — a Google Maps embed; those services may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
The chat assistant in the corner of each page runs entirely in your browser. What you type into it is not sent to us or stored anywhere; it only remembers, for your current visit, that you've already seen its greeting.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use (subject to legal and contractual limits). Contact us using the details below. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
